Fat sheep sold from €40 per head to €170 per head.
Cattle Sale Thursday 17 November 2022: There was another good entry of cattle to the sale this week with demand for all types on offer.
Strong cattle continue to be in strong demand selling to and above €3/kg for quality lots.
Lighter cattle also sold well at €3/kg to €3.40/kg.
Friesian cattle sold from €1.80/kg to €2.20/kg.
Bulls/bulls sold from €2.20/kg to €3.10/kg
Heifers sold from €2.30/kg to €3.40/kg.
Fat cows sold from €540/head to €1,940/head.
Top class bulls over 600 kg – from 860 to 930 euros over weight.
Bulls – from 960 to 1140 euros over weight.
Beef heifers – from 550 to 1300 euros over weight.
To keep heifers – from 390 to 890 euros over weight.
